Here a few photos to give you a flavour of our drive to Pamukkale (where you see the mineral flows) These photos are just on the way
The country is so green, Taurus Mountains on our right. Turkey is a very easy place to travel, everywhere is so clean, the transport is efficient and the drivers are following the road rules (not like Egypt at all)
Yes, this is a type of cockroach, with an interesting horn on the front, perhaps it might be called a rinoccerous cockroach .. it is rather magnificent dont you think? We found it on one of the posts at our hotel at Pamukkale.
Tractors are a common form of transport we noticed. For delivering goods, carrying the mother-in-law to the shops or just going for a visit. They are everywhere, but not many cars as petrol is very expensive here.
At our teabreak stop, Ergun our guide, played a trick on Amanda, fortunately he did it first to Jasmine, who is watching on, I was ready this time with the camera so I caught her response
Here is a picture of our hotel in Pamukkale (looks are very deceiving) this was probably the most dilapidated hotel, but it was safe, convenient to the local restaurant and generous with breakfast.
Next blog will be on the mineral flows..
